John Adams Obituary

Adams, John M. Of Brookfield, president of Champion Brick, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Friday, July 29, 2016 at the age of 66. Best friend and beloved husband of 42 years to Sally Adams. Loving and adored father of Matthew Adams and Elizabeth (Shaun) Powers. Preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mickey, and his brother, Paul. John was the oldest of 15 siblings and is survived by family and friends. His last moments were spent in his favorite place on this earth, at the family cottage in Three Lakes, Wisconsin where he loved to watch wildlife, fish, and spend time with his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Wauwatosa (12130 W. Center St.) from 9:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Following the service, John's family invites you to celebrate his life at the New Berlin Ale House, 16000 W. Cleveland Ave, New Berlin. The family asks that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.

Sally, Matt, and Elizabeth,
Kim and I were saddened to hear of the loss of John. We so enjoyed our business and personal time spent together. Kim still tells people about catching her first walleye, with the help of a bobber John rigged up for her.
May the many memories of your time together help you through this difficult time.

Matt & Family,
It is with deepest regret and sadness that I heard of the passing of your Dad. John has been one of my favorites in our Industry and truly someone that I always enjoyed seeing and meeting with. The time spent with John was always enlightening, educational and just plain fun. I hope you and your family can look back on your time with him and cherish those memories. The Industry has lost a true "Champion" for Clay brick and I have lost a friend. He will be missed. Sincerely and with regret, Mark A. Klepper
