I have many good memories working with John at #5. Always a smile, always called me "Mary." And who could forget the baseball games and Christmas parties especially at the Heaney house? My sympathy to the family. John was a good guy and he'll be missed.

I remember John from my days at District Five Late Shift (Midnight to 8AM) during the late 70s and early 80s. When he came out of roll call with the rest of the Day Shift to relieve us, I always remember him having a smile on his face. His friendly demeanor was always something to admire. Just a really great guy. Rest in Peace John.
My deepest condolences to the family. May God watch over you during this difficult time.
