He was the boy smart a.. and both of us did more than our share of stuff that got us in trouble. We had a secret gift exchange one Christmas... he got my name and he gave me a flatsy doll... I was rail thin back then. In eighth grade Nancy Crawford and myself were going to duke it out after school at 3pm. John made a bunch of tickets and was attempting to sell them to the kids that wanted to see it. Sister JoEllen found out and all three of us got in trouble. I´m so sorry to hear that he has passed...such a shock to me that his feisty energy is gone. To his family...please accept my deepest sympathy.

This world has lost a great man. Growing up on the playgrounds of West Milwaukee I did not know John, but I knew of him, and he commanded respect. Later as friends I found out what a kind, considerate, and generous person John was. My condolences to the Sullivan family. Rest in Peace Sully.

Dear Sullivan Family. You had a Great Brother. I am going to miss Him. Enjoyed sharing good times with Him, especially up North during deer hunting. Our family was very proud to have had Him serve as Pallbearer for our Mother (Auntie Mary). So much wanted to be with you to honor Johnny today. My heart and prayers are with You.
God Bless , Cousin Billy

I think perhaps an angel walked among us, disguised as a spicy redhead. John was gregarious and funny while quietly serving and supporting so many people in so many ways. You could count your blessings that you were in John´s prayers.
And the man knew how to party. I will miss him always. I am honored to have had him as a friend.

I golfed with john for many years and wish we would have had many more (even though I was a cash cow for him). He had a great sense of humor and will be missed by everyone in our men's league. He was a great man and we all were fortunate to have known him.

Deepest condolences to the Sullivan family. John's sense of humor always made the workplace and the golf course much more fun. Underneath it all he was a good-hearted caring person; someone you're proud to call a friend. He will be greatly missed.

My sympathies to the Sullivan family. I grew up with Mark and Mike. Cindy was my cheerleading coach. My husband Monte worked with John and mentioned him often. I´m unable to attend the visitation and funeral. I will keep you in my prayers.

We are very saddened by the news of Johns passing. I will never forget the day he came over to tell us about Lynn's passing. John was the best neighbor you could ask for to have for over 20 years. We will miss you very very much.
Our deepest heartfelt sympathy to all his family. He was a special man.

Kelly

I was so sadden to hear the news about John's passing. Since his family moved into the neighborhood over 60 years ago never have I met a more loyal and caring friend. We always seem to reconnect over the years even after long periods of time without talking or seeing each other. We had so many good times together I can not thank him enough for all of his spiritual help and I will be forever grateful for his friendship

May he rest in peace! I will keep John and the family in my prayer's always

I have known John for the last 11 years since I started working at Komatsu (P&H). His commitment to serving others through his volunteer work for The Gathering was truly appreciated. He did it with a quiet strength, reliable, giving and compassionate toward others. I am truly saddened by his passing, he was always someone that would bring a smile and genuine kindness. I offer my prayers and condolences to his family, friends and all who were fortunate to know John. May his memory and legacy carry on.
