June Spence Obituary

Spence, June B. Oconomowoc, Born to Eternal Life on April 24, 2007. 91 years. (nee Bendfelt). Beloved widow of Morton R. Spence, Sr., May 26, 2003. Beloved mother of Mike (Marie) Spence, Sukie (Bob) McNutt, Jeff (Lisa) Spence, Ken Spence, and Sara (David Pabst) Spence. Sister-in-law of Lucille and Rita Bendfelt. Grandmother of 8, great - grandmother of 8, also surviving are other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Bud and Orin Bendfelt. She was a very active sailer, skier, skeet shooter, (Wisconsin Woman's Champion in 1952), tennis player (multiple time club champion in Wisconsin and Florida), golfer (multiple time club champion in Wisconsin and Florida), active in School House Players, Oconomowoc Hospital Auxiliary, Garden Club of Oconomowoc, Investment Club, and raised five kids, with lots of dogs, cats, and wild critters. Memorial Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 19, 2007, at 10:00 AM, in the Chapel at Shorehaven Health Center, 1305 W. Wisconsin Ave. Oconomowoc, WI . The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu flowers memorials are suggested for Lutheran Homes of Oconomowoc or Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Foundation.
