My prayers are with the family of Kisha. Now this song bird is lifting up Heaven with that wonderful voice. I had my first shout after hearing her sing and am thanking God for the times I was able to be around her. Until we meet again my sister.

Praise The Lord,
I have words to say, But I just dont know how to say them. One thing I can say is she had a gift a wounderful voice of singing.
I know God gave her that gift and she used it very well.
When God give the gift of singing his praises it's a blessing from heaven above. I love to sing and when I would visit her church I would love to here her sing.
And beep down in side my soul I can just fell this song ----->
"If you Hear my HomeGoing dont you worry bout me . She just another soldier in his army ooohhhh she's on her way home ...... That song been in my holy spirit. I wish I could sing that for her.
With love and prayers

I don't know Lakisha but she seems like a person that I would have enjoyed from the spirituality her friends and family have shared. To her family, I pray that God gives you peace soon with the loss of this young lady. Hang in there & keep looking to Him for support. A sister in Christ.

I really enjoyed having her as a classmate at MATC. She would always make us laugh. My fondest memory of her would be in our multicultural competence class, I brought sushi for the whole class to try and she did not like it. You will be truly missed Lakisha. Gone but never forgotten...forever in our hearts.

First giving honor to God who is the head of my life. I would like to say that I understand what God has allowed, but that is not the case. I know God knows all and sees all, I would like to send my prays and thoughts to all that new Ms. Alexander, I remember her will through her songs. Which she would sing so well. God has taken one of his home, so we must keep her memory alive, by staying strong in the lord and remaining saved to one day she her again. With love from Miriam Hemphill. Such a warm spirit... I'm honored OUR LORD allowed 'Mrs. Alexander's', path to cross with my own, In the Human Service Progam at MATC. I will always remember her saying, " the book says"...."BUT the BIBLE says....AND I GO BY WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS!!!" , and of course her beautiful smile. She knew Jesus, and was always inviting others to get to know him. I KNOW SHE IS REJOICING WITH OUR KING!! GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To the dear family and friends of "Ms. Alexander", please accept my deepest sympathy. I was fortunate to meet Lakisha in the Human Services program and I will always remember her open-minded attitude and her being very outspoken. If she felt strongly about anything, she would make sure you knew it. Moreover, I will miss her beautiful voice as she would be in the back of the class singing quietly (when we weren't even suppose to be talking). When Kisha had a praise in her heart, she didn't care where she was, she was going ti give God glory. I admired her for that and I will truly miss her presence.
