Lori was a wonderful nurse at the VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. She took great care of my aunt on Extended Care there and we worked closely together in Primary Care for many years... I learned much from her and there was never too much to do for her in caring for our veteran patients. She was my coffee buddy every morning--the coffee pot was just outside her office and we greeted each other every day--she was always with a smile, kind word, laugh and understanding. She loved family--being a mom and wife and daughter and sister--always up for a party. We always had great stories to share. I'm so very grateful for the good memories I have of this dear lady. My deepest sympathy to her family

Lori was a ray of sunshine and had a contagious smile. Darned good sheepshead player too! Gone way too soon. Wishing the comfort and peace to Trevor and the rest of her family that only God can bring. RIP Foos. You will not be forgotten. ♥♥♥

Lori and I worked together in the Gold Clinic at the VA Hospital. She was a strong advocate for the Veterans and also for nursing. She was a true nurse advocate she will be missed.
