Michelle Smart-Powell Obituary

Smart-Powell, Michelle Age 52. Michelle enjoyed meeting and talking to people. She was gregarious. She enjoyed swimming, gardening, and other outdoor activities. She also enjoyed dancing and riding her own motorcycle. Michelle was adventurous and always willing to try something new. She enjoyed cooking. She worked for Milwaukee Public Schools as a kitchen manager (i.e. Lunch Lady) for 15 years. Upon moving to Black River Falls she opened and ran her own restaurant, Local Gatherings, in downtown BRF. She worked for a short time at the BRF Public Library. Michelle will be loved, remembered and missed by her husband Al Powell, 9 brothers and sisters, and by all others she left behind. Visitation will be held from 11AM-1PM at Torgerson Funeral Home in BRF. Address: 408 N. Water St. BRF, WI 54615 Phone: 715-284-4321 The memorial service starts at 1PM.
