Patricia La Sota Obituary

La Sota, Patricia 56, of Oak Creek, passed away after her second, but this time, one-sided battle with cancer on April 3, 2013. Beloved daughter of the late Adam La Sota and Cecilia (nee Tannheimer) Eisenbach (the late Robert Eisenbach). Loving sister to Bruce (Jan) La Sota, Lou La Sota (Scott Burac) and Kathy (Mike) Haralson. Proud Aunty to Lindsey Haralson and Jake La Sota. Patty reunites for continued antics with her sister, Christine La Sota. The family is tremendously grateful to Angel, Judy and Christine for their loving and devoted care of our sister. We are also thankful for the wonderful staff at the Zilber Family Hospice for providing comfort and peace for Patty and her family during her final days. Patty was a correctional sergeant at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for over 20 years, most recently at the Racine Youthful Offender Correctional Facility. Patty will be remembered for her sharp and dry wit, quick, sarcastic one-liners and a generous giving heart. Patty loved cooking for armies of people, gardening and tending to her cabin in the woods. Patty had a unique sense of humor and her friends were sometimes treated to one of her mischievous pranks, particularly a good yard "sabotage." If a friend came home to an unusually gaudy lawn ornament, a for sale sign, or a Pumpkin Patch on their lawn, you can be assured Patty wasn't too far from the scene. In place of a traditional service, Patty has requested a summer celebration for family and friends. When the grill is fired up, our sister will be there in spirit.

I will never forget the years I spent working with Pat. Some of the best memories that I have from working in Corrections are due to her pranks and one-liners! I will never forget you Pat.

I heard this news with great sadness in my heart. You'r family is in my thoughts and prayers. I had the pleasure of experiencing one of Patty's pranks. A moment I will never forget. Brings a smile to my face every time I think of it. One of her long time Corrections family members from way back. In loving memory,
