Richard M. Schmidt "Dick"

Milwaukee - Passed away peacefully on Dec. 31, 2020 at age 79. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Thekla (nee Dormeyer) Schmidt, parents Rose S. (nee Roth) and Henry L. Schmidt and brother Henry W. Schmidt. Loving father of Pamela and Suzanne Schmidt. Dear uncle of Scott (Angela), Noelle and Andrew Schmidt and Chris and Jason Dormeyer. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Dick retired as a pressman from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in 2002 after 39 years of service. Special thanks to Always Best Senior Care Services and Seasons Hospice for their compassionate care.

Visitation Fri. Jan. 8, 2021 from 1pm until the time of services at 2pm, all at Wisconsin Memorial Park - Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Dr. Brookfield. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family requested.
