Land, Roland E. "Rollie" Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Nee Baumann) for 62 years. Devoted father of Christine (Roger) Curtiss, Thomas (Marina) Land, Robert E. Land, Carol A. Strem, and Catherine (Steve) Presnal. Proud grandpa of Jaimie (Dan) Sponder, Tammie (Rob) Ziemer, Lisa (Todd) Hencsik , Danny Mueller, Sheri Potter, Katie (Stuart) Katzman, Robert E. (Amanda Schellinger) Land Jr., David Land, Stephen (Amanda) Zimmer, Mitch Presnal, Brent Strem, Brett Presnal and Jake Strem and 10 great grandchildren. Loving son of the late Lorenz and Laura Land. He will be sadly missed by other relatives and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Sunday, March 29, 2015 1-4 PM. Vigil 4 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at ST. MATTHIAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 9306 W. Beloit Road, on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 10 AM. He will be laid to rest at St. Matthias Cemetery immediately following Mass. Rollie served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a proud member of The American Legion Post #449. He retired from Coldwell Banker after 25 plus years as a Real Estate Broker. He loved playing sheepshead with his buddies, was an avid golfer and loved his dogs. Memorials appreciated to the American Heart Association.
