Rosemary Tendick Obituary

Tendick, Rosemary Born June 22, 1920 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Ignazio and Lucia Mastopietro. Passed away peacefully on November 30, 2006. Beloved wife for 51 years of the late Donald Tendick, Sr. She is lovingly survived by her sons, Donald, Jr. (Kathy) and J. Michael (Cathy) Tendick. Cherished grandmother of Christian Tendick, Rebecca (Michael) Guetzke, Donald III "Trace" (Katie), Shane and Kyle Tendick. Proud great-grandmother of T.J., Ryan and Sophia. Dear sister of Marie, Elda (Edward) Millane, Audry (Marvin) Chmielewski, Delores (late Joe) Kezman and her brother, William (late Helen) Mastopietro. Sister-in-law of Dorothy (Robert) Dieter. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Rosemary was preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph (Alice), Harry (Jean), and her sister, Lucille (late Willian) Foulks. Rosemary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma. She attended South Division High School, Milwaukee and met Don while both were employed at Harnischfeger's. Rosemary enjoyed her family and her work the most. Work was important, but the most important part of her work was the communication she had with all the employees. This was her extended family, and they were all very special to her. Rosemary enjoyed her Garden Club; she was a religious devoted person. She often quoted that all our riches belong to God and that He would look after us all. Rosemary was a very special person who loved serving and hosting friends and family. When Rosemary had a party, she made it a special event. She will be missed by many, but she will be meeting her Lord, her husband, her parents, and other family members and friends who are anxiously awaiting her arrival in Heaven. Rosemary believed in Angels and her Guardian Angel has taken very good care of her. A special thanks to Sue, Annette, and Millie for their loving care for Rosemary and also to the wonderful people at the Best of Friends Group held at St. John Vianney. If you wish, memorials appreciated to the Alzheimer's Assoc. of Southeastern Wisconsin, or Advocates of Ozaukee (Rosemary House), a shelter for abused women and children, that was donated to Ozaukee County by Rosemary and Donald Tendick, or a charity of your choice. Visitation Monday, December 4, 2006 at the Funeral Home from 4 to 7PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 10AM at St. Mary's Visitation Church, Elm Grove (1260 Church St.). Private entombment. "You now have your Angel wings." Sympathy Expressions www.beckerritter.com BECKER RITTER Michael Feerick Associate Brookfield (262)782-5330

Mrs. Tendick was one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I started working for Lamplight Farms two months after my 17th birthday. Needless to say I was pretty nervous as this was my first job. I was welcomed by the Tendick family with open arms. Obviously, as I stayed for 23 years. Tuesday's were my favorite days because Rosemary would hand out our checks!!!

I learned alot from Rosemary, Sr, Michael and Jr. over those years and can truly say I'm a better person because of them. Family values and treating people with respect were just a couple of Rosemary's greatest qualities. I will miss her dearly but know she's in a better place. Say hi to Sr. Mrs. T!!

On behalf of Ozaukee County, please accept our sincerest sympathies. Mr. and Mrs. Tendick were outstanding Ozaukee citizens and generously gave so much for the betterment of our community. BOTH of these wonderful people will be missed and will never be forgotten. May God rest their souls.

Heaven is richer by One Very Special Angel. I have sweet memories of Rosemary visiting us at our house on 105th and Ruby. She truly loved everyone and generously expressed that. Our condolences to the family. Art Hartwig (Tarpon Springs, FLA), and daughter Marcia Hartwig (Playa del Rey, CA)
