February 14, 2007

My mother, Dolores Kleman, has been a resident at Windsor House for the past two years. She shared a kitchen table with your mom. Even though others finished eating and left for their rooms, your mom would stay sitting there for a while. My mom remembers her as listening to others talk while being mostly quiet and smiling occasionally. She played bingo a bit and often said her coffee was too cold.
We are wondering if you had lived across the street from us back in the early 1970s. We lived at 1822 East Howard Avenue. We knew that a Seidenkranz family with 2 daughters lived in the 4 unit apartment building there. Your mom said she lived across from Humboldt Park near Howell Avenue and didn't seem to remember the Howard Avenue address when my mom asked her about it. If you wish to reply, it would be interesting to hear if you were that same family. On behalf of me and my mom, we send you our condolences and pray that you will find the strength to cope and to find pleasure in the loving memories you have of your mom. God bless you.
