I am deeply saddened by the news of your loss. I pray that God will grant you the strength. My most sincere condolences.
When I came on the GFD in 1976 I trained with Tom on all training classes morning and or evening with all GFD volunteers at that time. Tom had great wisdom and outlook on life and had shared that with me.

My memories of Thomas are from the late 70's and early 80's. I was a paid on call with Tom and then became a full time firefighter with Greenfield. As a "kid" I learned how to do a job and how to interact with the other firefighters and supervisors in part of Tom's guidance. I knew at that time and looking back, he was a good person. I'm sorry I can't be at the service this Saturday but I will remember Tom.
Thanks, Darren
