Dear family of Tony,
I worked at Luther Manor some time ago, and was introduced to Tony through my daughter Candace who is employed there presently. Tony was the type of person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He truly enjoyed helping others, and had such a wonderful outlook on life. The times I had spoken with him were always filled with stories of his family and the love he felt for them. He was so proud of his children, and enjoyed sharing the happy times he had with his family. When the term "family man" is used, this was Tony. I am sure he will be missed by all who knew him. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.

Dear Barb and family, Please know our prayers are with you and the boys. Our boys attended Tendercare with Joseph, Randy and Jalen and have kind of grown through the years with them and now at Bryant too. I also was Joseph and Randy's First Grade teacher. I can still see Tony in the hallway and I will never forget his never ending enthusiastic smile. He was always talking about things he was doing with the boys or going to do. I had asked him for advice on the Boyscouts and he would always talk to my husband during PTO and had invited him along on a Canada trip, though he couldn't go. He was always there. We will truly miss him. My sons were very upset and will miss him as well. Raymond was looking forward to telling him about his bowling award he'd gotten. He's touched so many lives in so many special ways. And continues to do so. You have a special Angel. Please know that we are here for you and the boys. Sincerely-The Bensemann's

Barb,
Words can't express how much Tony has meant to so many people. When my Mother and Dad were alive at LM he was always so kind and good to them. His sense of humor and willingness to help others is
known by all who knew him. May God bless your family and give you the strength to carry on. I worked with Tony for many years and always enjoyed his sunny outlook!
God Bless,

Oh Barb,
I am so very sorry. You know how I felt about Tony. Remember, life is immortal and love is eternal and death is just the horizon beyond which we cannot yet see. Take care and e-mail me when you have a chance. Hug the children for me.

Dear Barb and the boys,
I know that Tony loved each and everyone of you so much. At work this is all he talked about how much he loved you all. Tony will be missed by so many here at Luther Manor. I have worked with Tony for all of his 22 years at Luther Manor. We had lots of fun together. I can remember the great times we had Bowling on the LM League, and playing softball together, and he and I coached my son's Little League together. Gosh what fun we had in those past 22 years together at Luther Manor. I asked Tony this past fall about helping me get a Coed softball team together, and he was all for it. Well, I'm going to continue to do this in Honor of Tony. I know that he would want this to happen. I know that he will be looking down at us, and he will have a few laughs while we are playing on that field.
I can remember taking pictures of your family a few years ago in the fall, and how pretty the colors were at the time. What great memories you will always have.
We all have a very special Angel watching over us. God Bless each one of you.
Gods Blessings,
Roberta-Steven and Zachary Pratt

As a teacher of Joseph, Randy, and Jalen, I came to know the Simons as a special family. Tony was always active in the school; at PTO meetings, conferences, special events, we could always count on him to step in and help out, take over a booth or table, and just generally be a concerned parent and school volunteer. He and Barb have been raising some of the nicest boys I know, boys who will miss their father terribly but will also benefit from all he has taught them over the years. I doubt that there is a better father figure anywhere. I extend my sympathies to Barb and the boys, including Michael, of course, and hope that they know how much the community will also miss Tony, as a friend, a good citizen, and a loving parent. My prayers go out to the entire family. I hope that Barb, Joe, Randy, and Jalen will always feel able to talk to me and let me know how they are doing.
