Forrest "Harry" Nestelroad II

Nestelroad II, Forrest "Harry" Nestelroad, II, Forrest "Harry", 64, died August 27, 2018. Visitation with family, 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, Aug. 31, at Broadway Mortuary. Funeral service 10:30 am, Saturday, Sept. 1, at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 5701 E. Mt. Vernon, Wichita. Harry was born Sept. 15, 1953 in Wichita. He graduated from Wichita East High School and then from MIT (Missouri Institute of Technology). He retired from Sedgwick County after 15 years. Harry enjoyed his "second" occupation as officiating high school football, basketball and baseball for almost 35 years. He loved sports of all kinds, but mostly WSU and KU basketball. Harry was a lay leader at church and enjoyed scouting and campouts. His hobby was "Master of not finishing home improvement projects"!! He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest "Bud" Harry Nestelroad. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Jennifer; son, Kyle (Alli) Nestelroad of Castle Rock, CO; step-son, Courtney (Kim) Etter of Conyers, GA; mother, Dolores Nestelroad of Wichita; brother, Bill (Ellen) Nestelroad of Wichita; sister, Sheryl Nestelroad; grandchildren, Emme, Aidy and Rosie; and step-grandchildren, Nicole and Jacob.
