Hi "kids", we were neighbors over 50 years ago and remember your folks very well. Having Sat. night boiled shrimp and ear corn on newspapers in your kitchen and your dad puttering around in his garage. Your mom always busy in the house or sitting on our couch early mornings drinking coffee with my mom. So sorry to hear of your loss, Linda "Schmidt"

I am going to miss Albert. Even in his late eighties he went hiking with me in the California hills. He also wanted to be useful to people as long as he could. I recall being at a friend’s home for a party and we took Albert along. Somebody warned the guests to be careful of a few loose boards on the veranda. I don’t know how he did it but be got a hold of a hammer and as we were all hanging around eating and drinking, Albert was out there on his hands and knees pounding nails back in. He just wanted to be useful. - Jeffrey DeSalles
