My deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. Laura always had such wonderful stories of her mother. I am sure she will be deeply missed.

Thomas, I had no idea Cathy McCarty was your grandmother. I see her ever cheerful countenance in you. Mrs. McCarty was so supportive during my time at Wyandotte High School, 1982-86. This was my first high school position, after two years of middle school, and I certainly needed all the help I could get. I remember her energy, her professionalism, and her loyalty to Mr. Rhone, our beloved principal. And that smile. Sending love and prayers for peace, as you and your family face the loss of a wonderful woman.
