I was so sorry to learn of Cliff's untimely passing. He was a mentor to me and, without him, the National Board for Respiratory Care and Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc. would likely not exist. Only Cliff could have brought the NBRC to Kansas City in 1974. He was a brilliant and creative leader with a vision for what things could be like and he had the determination and courage to cause it to happen. He will be greatly missed by many colleagues and friends in the respiratory care community and in the NBRC/AMP organizations.
