A lovely memory I have of both Cwen and Larry is when Larry was planning a special surprise for one of Cwen's birthdays. He wanted to contact a old friend of Cwen's to ask her to pay a surprise visit. He only knew her name and that she and her husband owned a boat shop somewhere in the U.S. He sought my help at the library. I was delighted to use our resources to help him find the right address. He was so happy to be able to do this for Cwen.
I taught at the Middle School when Cwen was school nurse there. I enjoyed her friendliness and sincerity and was always delighted to have an opportunity to have a conversation with her.
