Louisa Bartsch Obituary

Louisa Ellen Hall Bartsch, 69, Kansas City in Clay County, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2002. She is in a place prepared for her by the Lord Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2002, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 N.E. Vivion Rd., Kansas City. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery, Weston, MO. Louisa, daughter of D.B. & Anna Hall, was born July 24, 1933, and raised on a farm east of Dearborn, MO. She attended the University of Missouri and graduated from the University of Kansas. At Kansas, she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi; earlier this year she received her 50year Diamond Circle Award. In her senior year, she met her future husband, Paul W. Bartsch Jr. Louisa spent over 30 years in real estate, culminating a successful career with Remax. Survivors include her husband, Paul; daughters, Ellen Bartsch of Kansas City, MO, Sheryl Bunce & her husband, Derwin of Kansas City, KS, Debra Templeton & her husband, Craig, of Richmond, VA, Amy Sayler & her husband, Aaron, of Grand Forks, ND; and son, Duane Bartsch of Manhattan Beach, CA; and grandchildren, Lindsay & Cory Templeton, Ana Bartsch, Ethan, Jordan, Aubrey, Travis and Caleb Bunce, and Anderson, Delaney and Ryan Sayler. The family is deeply appreciative of the kindness shown by friends, neighbors & alumnae of Alpha Delta Pi, and extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Kendallwood Hospice.
