This is always a hard time of year tolose a loved one--I'm sorry I didn't know Merit personally, but I am a member of this Pool branch. May God give you and yours comfort.

What an intelligent and kind man I found Uncle Meriet to be over the years.. It was a pleasure getting to visit at the Pool house every time, and he never complained even though I"m afraid Tim and I got loud up stairs a time or two.
Although the loss of seeing him is ours right now. God is still on His mighty throne. Uncle Merit is no doubt walking on the streets of gold at this moment; getting to visit with Aunt Gloria; as well as other friends and family who have gone on before; and ihe is right now waiting and expecting to see each one of his boys one day.

If it were possible I'd be coming, and would like to be there. In any case here is my e mail address however,

I love Uncle Meriet, Aunt Gloria, and each one of their sons (my cousins). Growing up and visiting at their house was a high point of my life.
