Richard Duncan Obituary

Richard John Duncan of Lee's Summit, Missouri, passed away on June 12, 2008, at the age of 65, following a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. A celebration of Richard's life will be held from 1:30- 4:30 p.m., with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 28th, in the gymnasium of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 SW 150 Hwy., Lee's Summit. A celebration of life will also be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 13th, at the Lake Valley Country Club in Camdenton, Missouri. Private burial will be held in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305; National Parkinson Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Ave., Miami, FL 33136-1494; or the Palliative Care Program of St. Luke's Hospital, in care of St. Luke's Hospital Foundation, 4225 Baltimore Ave., Kansas City, MO 64111.
