Robert Baught, 73, Fairway, Kan., died peacefully at the family home on November 15, 2007. Born to Edward and Catherine Baught on January 15, 1934, Bob graduated from Beaumont High School in St. Louis, Mo. Dear Baught Family,
My thoughts and prayers go out to each one of you. I know this is a very hard time right now.
I will always remember his smile and how nice he was to me as a friend of Cathy's back in high school (even though Cathy and I got in a LOT of trouble back then). Please take care and love strong.

In Memory Of Uncle Butch

I can not find the words to describe my feelings of how much I loved and looked up to you, how much you will be missed and how much you influenced my life.

You taught me about strength, passion, courage, love and humor.

Thank you for jumping in the aluminum pool that day and playing with us.

Thank you for putting the plastic wig on your head and letting us take photos of you.

Thank you for building the Bluebird house as it brings nature's wonder and beauty to my family.

Thank you for for accepting and treating me with such love and kindness.

I pray you enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with your mother and father and all the rest of our family that have passed.

Your light continues to shine, brighter now that your suffering on this earth has ended.

Rest in Peace My Dear Uncle Butch, Much Love, Your Niece Kelly

Dear Baught Family
I had such a heavy heart when Lori told me about Bob. But He is now in the very best place. I have very good memories of Bob. I am sure it was illegal ( but very fun) when he loaded up the back of his pickup truck with all the neighborhood kids and drove us around the lake.

There we so many cold Iowa winter Saturdays that he would be in the kitchen working on his chili- he was so happy being with his family.

On the 4th of July he would pack up the girls and friends and take us to the beach for the day. Bob BBQ'd for us all!

If he would ask you a question and you answered without adding the word Sir to the end-he would keep asking the question until you did add it. It does take a village to raise a child as he wanted me to learn to show respect for others-

We neved did find out if it was June or Bob that nailed the basement windows shut so we could not sneak out of the house- As Bob has the tools- I am sure it was him!!

Bob was such a wonderful father to my dear friend and her sisters- I know they are all filled with tears and laughter thinking about their beloved Dad.

My thoughts and prayers are with you
