Dear Conn family,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. My parents have cherished their friendship with you over the years. My dad was so touched and impressed with Bob's poetry that Bob was kind enough to share with him.
I will always remember Bob as a devoted father, coaching and attending Kevin's many sporting events. I also remember the spark between Bob and Rogene that was so evident.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Bob was very kind to me, when I was a young and very green medical student in Seattle between 1968 and 1972. Over 15 years later, he gave me some very sage advice over the phone regarding the ideal size of a medical group. Unfortunately, I didn't heed his advice (6-8) and after our group reached 12, it all fell apart because we lost our original culture. It is amazing that such a down-to-earth, almost "common" man, could be so smart, athletic, and above all, caring and kind. You are in our prayers. Rich Kirkpatrick, MD, FACP Longview WA

Dear Kevin and Conn family,
I am so sorry to hear about Bob. He was such a positive force in my life. Even now I often think back on all the wonderful things he taught us as boys, young men, and young adults. Bob Conn was one of the greatest men I have ever known. Parent, coach, mentor, role model, Jayhawk, Doctor; he was the best of the best. Most of all he was a friend during those extremely difficult "teachable moments" young men often encounter in athletic competition and in life.
I was fortunate and blessed to have known him, his family, and had him in my life. Godspeed to the entire Conn family during this most difficult time.
God bless you all,
David Cohn

Linda
I had no idea your father was such an athlete. I guess that explains why he out hit, and out ran, everyone at the Miller/Swartz softball game at Rob's softball field. We are so sorry for your loss.

My prayers and thoughts are with the family in their time of loss. I managed Medical Plaza for 10 years from 1990 to 2000 and knew Dr. Conn to be a very good and kind man. He was always the Professional in all he did. His loss will be felt by many people for he touched many lives. God Bless you.

He had as much fun as anybody at Phil's bachelor party. Even though he knew better, he enjoyed good bar-b-que and Laphroaig. His generosity allowed Lane to finally understand the magic that is Kansas Basketball. Even though I will miss him, I'm glad his suffering is over.

I worked with Dr. Conn at St. Lukes many years ago. He was an exceptional physician and a very kind human being. My husband Dan, is a recently retired physician (Internal Medicine)
diagnosed with ALS as well. I have a team walking in the October Walk to Defeat ALS event. Dr. Conn will be in my thoughts as well as his family. Take care.
