My sincere condolences to Gloria and the whole Family of boyhood friend Sal. I remember his Mom and Dad and Grandmother. Mary and Tony invited me to supper many times. I said Mass for Sal last night in the local parish and will say Mass there again this morning at 8:30 - here in Rome. In fact I began a Novena of Masses for Sal. One of the Masses I will offer on the altar in St. Peter's Basilica where the bod of Bless John Paul II is placed. My sincere condolences to all oif you. What a wonderful family! Mary did a lot for Holy Rosary -- St. Joseph table, etc. A big God bless you from Rome, Italy! I tried to send this before, so I wrote it again and put Rome (New York) so it waould accept it - but I am thinking of all of you - and you Gloria whome I remember as a little girl - from rome-italy

I am sorry to hear of Sal's passing. I worked with Sal at Farmland Industries until I left in 1984. I have only fond memories of him and have thought of him often. May God bless and comfort his family and friends during this time.

I share the families' grief. I worked with Sal at Farmland Research.
He was a special friend as well as my boss the last year before the Lab was closed for good. I have warm memories of him and
the Farmland family. May your warm memories help you as you

Dear friends, I was saddened to learn of the death of my friend for more than 60 years. We have seldom seen each other for many years, but whenever we did it brought back old times and the fun we had as youngsters. Sal was a great guy--smart, witty, and fun to be around. The only solace we have when good people like Sal pass on are the memories we have of the great times we had with them. Please cherish these memories and know that friends like me will miss him also. Best wishes and sincerest condolences to all of the family of my boyhood friend, Sam Strada, residing in Mobile, Alabama
