Tom Anderson Obituary

Tom S. Anderson, 54, of Holt, Missouri, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church, 309 S. Steward Rd., Liberty, Mo. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Fry-Bross and Spidle Chapel, Kearney, Mo. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Anderson, was born November 9, 1952 in Chillicothe, Missouri, the son of Hugh Pat and Berneta Utley Anderson. He was reared in Dawn, Mo, and graduated in 1971 from Southwest High School in Ludlow, Mo. Mr. Anderson was an, over the road truck driver. On November 23, 1991, in Wichita, Kansas he married Julianna Mikler. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Kearney. He was preceded in death by his father, a niece and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Julianna of the home, two sons; Mitchell Anderson, Mooresville, Mo, and Jamey Woods, Liberty, Mo, two daughters; Heather Anderson, Blue Springs, MO., and Chasity Edwards, Liberty, Mo, his mother Berneta Anderson, Chillicothe, Mo, four brothers; Hugh Pat Anderson V, of Blue Springs, Mo, Jim Anderson, Dawn, Mo, and Tim Anderson, Kansas City, Mo, Bill Anderson, Cameron, Mo, five sisters; Connie Anderson Rounkles, Dawn, Mo, Kay Cox, Chillicothe, Mo, Dee Kinsella, Wheeling, Mo, Debbie Neptune, Dawn, Mo, and Theresa Wever, Utica, Mo, and nine grandchildren, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. You are my cousin and although we only saw each other at weddings, anniversaries and funerals, still we were "blood". You were from the "big cousin family" that I never could keep track of (as far as the names, ages, etc)...it took years. I will always love and remember you. Although you have left this world, you will forever remain a part of us, the Andersons. You are now an angel watching over all of us.

I worked with Tom at Hertz Equipment Rental for many years. He was a good friend and would do anything for anyone. He will be greatly missed although he is now pain free and in a better place.
