Dana, Aunt Norma, and family,
My sympathy, thoughts and prayers go out to each one of you. I was sad to hear of the loss, in this life of Uncle Don. Happy to know that he is with my Grandma Lena and all of the rest before us. One of the great things about our family is "The Loudermilk Family Reunion" Uncle Don's presence, bright smile and music will be temporarily missed--his memories will live on and be cherished. May you know that each one of you are loved by the whole Loudermilk family, and that God has gently placed his loving arms around each one of you to carry you through this today and always--until you meet up with him again to join or hear that heavenly band.

Love to you all,
Lecia

our thoughts and prayers go out to Norma and the family.
I lost not only an uncle but my old friend and buddy. Walter and I roamed the red clay hills around Grandpas house, having more fun than we would have in town.
Wait for me Walter, I will be there soon and we can sit down and refresh our memories.

Although I never met Mr. Loudermilk I have been a close friend to his son Don for over 20 years. I have heard many great stories about his Dad and the family's love for music. We hope those memories can help ease the pain for the family during this difficult time. Jodie and I send our love and prayers.

My prayers go to each of the family members of Uncle Don as I know like we all know how hard it is to let our love one's escape this life to a better world to be re-united with those that have gone before. Nothing will replace our Uncle Don, yet nothing will ever erase his memory from our family.
God bless you and just remember this is only a temperary seperation.

Our Loudermilk family has suffered a great loss and my heart is very sad. But I picture you, Uncle Don, in your heavenly home, playing guitars with my Daddy. My prayers and thoughts are with you Aunt Norma and all the kids and grandkids, with all those who feel this loss. This world is not our home.

Uncle Don, you were my hero, from your valiant service to our country in WWII, to your brilliant musical talent that you taught all of us to appreciate. You were an advisor when we needed it and a mentor to show us the way. The times I got to spend with you will always be some of the most cherished times of my life.
