Certainly, condolences to all the family. The grief of this loss never has words to adequately express the deep and enduring pain. May our friend Allyson feel the embrance of her freinds as she struggles to mourn the loss of her dad. So young? No matter, a dad should always be there to talk to, to be proud of and to love. Kay and I offer you our love and embrace at this time of pain and loss.

To the Wayne Ackermann family,

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Wayne was a gentlemen, a friend and a honest person to whomever he met. He went above and beyond to deliver what he promised. He was a great help to me, during my years as receptionist at Spangler. Wayne will truly be missed by many and his memory will linger with those he has touched. You are in my heart and prayers.

When I got the sad news of Wayne’s passing, I felt like I had lost a member of my family. We were good friends in high school and remained on each other’s Christmas card list in order to stay in touch over the years since.

Wayne was truly a special person. When other kids were listening to early rock and roll, he was collecting jazz recordings. We listened to some pretty neat jazz flute at his house. He was a terrific whistler when he was a kid, and taught me how to do vibrato. No body else could do it like he could. He was on our bowling team where we shared some great times, even though we lost frequently to the old timers in the league.

Oh, the good times we had. Wayne may be off to be with our God, but he will remain in my memory till I see him again.

Jeanne,

By chance, I looked at the obituaries in the K.C. Star this morning and was shocked to see Wayne's name. I don't know if you will remember me, but I am from Carrollton and thought Wayne was the nicest person. We were also sorority sisters in Delta Zeta at CMSC. I was only there two years. I am so very sorry to learn of Wayne's death. I will also remember him as a young man in Carrollton who was just a wonderful person. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Jeanne and Family,

My heart is heavy this morning as I learned of Wayne's passing. Although our lives did not touch often enough after our college days, I fondly remember our conversations and interaction over the years. Wayne just had that winning smile and warm demeanor that lit up a room. He was a special individual indeed. Our days at CMS were better because of him and he was highly respected by many. We will have many special remembrances during this difficult time, and you all will be in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with this great loss. May you be comforted by his memory and lifted up by his the greatness of his spirit. He was a special man and a good friend to me and many others. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you come to grips with this great loss. You have my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolence. God bless you all. Regards, Terry L. Steele
