May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. We are thinking of all of you—and hope that the prayers of friends surround you with healing in the days and months ahead.

It was so much fun to visit with Dan one-on-one at our last class reunion. I felt like I got to know him better in one evening than all those years as classmates--such a great guy!

My husband Randy and I had such a nice time this past August. We were driving through Nebraska and we had a chance to meet Linda and Dan for dinner. We had so many good memories about high school and many funny stories with belly laughs. Dan you were a one of a kind and you will be greatly missed! You are now in the arms of the Lord and with loved ones who have gone before you. Our prayers go out to Linda, Kirsten, Nathan, Ellen, kids and grandkids and all of the family.

When I think of Dan, it's still Danny to me since he was one of my much younger cousins. But I remember the Joneson get togethers, aunts, uncles and all the cousins never missed a birthday celebration. My heart aches for Linda, Dan's family, Christie, Ellen, and Nathan. Sending love and prayers to all of you.

So sad to hear the news! So many wonderful memories of time spent with the Jacobsons! One particular one that comes to mind is when Dan played Santa Claus, coming to our house, and holding John in his lap.
