Elizabeth Suzanne Lindsay, 36, passed away May 3, 2025 at Mosaic in Axtell, Neb. The Memorial Service will be 10:30 a.m., June 20, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church in Kearney. Private family burial was held at the Kearney Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Mosaic in Axtell, Neb.
Elizabeth was born in Janesville, Wis., on June 23, 1988, to William and Jill Pickens Lindsay. She suffered a traumatic brain injury at 18 months of age in a tragic automobile accident that took the life of her mother. She moved to Kearney with her father and brother to be closer to her maternal grandparents. She attended Central Elementary School, Sunrise Middle School and Kearney High School. She moved to Mosaic in Axtell at age 17 years.
She was dear to many with her laugh and engaging smile. She especially loved her walks with Grandma Bev and her much faster walks with her brother, Spencer. She had many great caregivers at Mosaic who became her "Mosaic Family".
Elizabeth is survived by her father, William "Bill" Lindsay; stepmother, Katherine "Kay" Keifer of Berlin, Conn.; brother, Spencer Lindsay of Washington D.C.; and maternal grandparents, Charles and Beverly Pickens of Kearney, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jill Pickens Lindsay; brother, Matthew Lindsay; paternal grandparents, Robert and Charlotte Lindsay of Wethersfield, Conn.; and step-grandparents, Jess and Willa Keifer of Holdrege, Neb.
