Justin Mason Obituary

Justin Mason

A Joint Memorial Service for Justin M. Mason, Randall "Bone" Franklin, Jr., and Wallace "Wally" Martin will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Holdrege, Nebraska, with Pastors Kevin Lund and Murray Jones, and Mr. Ken Breinig, officiating.

Justin Michael Mason, 34 years of age, Arapahoe, Nebraska, formerly of Holdrege, died Friday, August 15, 2025, at approximately 9:38 p.m. in a tragic, fatal three-vehicle car accident near Funk. Justin's death was instant; he did not suffer. He was born in Kearney, Nebraska, on August 27, 1990, to Vicki Franklin (Smith) and Michael Mason. Justin became a proud big brother in 1993 to Stephanie Mason and in 2007 to Tristan Franklin. He attended Holdrege Public School. Justin worked at The Scoular Company in Holdrege and Atlanta from 2012 to 2025. Justin was always a hard worker and loved his job.

In 2011, Justin met the love of his life, Tiffany Moore, of Arapahoe. Justin had a big family, and he loved them all deeply, especially his cat, Lucky. He would hang out with them all the time. He was always willing to help them with a project, yardwork, everything, and anything they needed; he was there. Family always came first to Justin. He loved to go camping with his girlfriend, his cat, as well as family and friends. It was always a great time, and he would talk to everyone he met. Justin was always willing to help out a stranger in need. He has always had a kind, lovable, and beautiful heart and soul. He loved riding his scooter around town and at the lake, passing by with a smile, and ringing his bell (ding). Justin loved to cruise around in his Yukon listening to his subs. He enjoyed watching YouTube, especially Cleetus McFarland, races, court cases, anything really. To know Justin was to love him. He will be tremendously missed by his family and friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delmar and Betty Smith; grandpa, Larry Brown; uncles: Jim Mason, Larry Mason, Wally Martin; aunt, Nancy Barker; cousins, Nathan Martin, Taylor Martin, and Randall Franklin Jr. (Bone).

Justin is survived by his mom and stepdad, Vicki and Randy Franklin Sr. of Holdrege; dad, Michael Mason of Holdrege; grandma, Dianna Melroy of Holdrege; sister, Stephanie Mason of Holdrege; brother, Tristan Franklin of Holdrege; girlfriend, Tiffany Moore of Arapahoe; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

There will be no visitation or memorial book signing.

Memorials in Justin's memory are kindly suggested to the family.
