Terry Lee Lieth was born in Grand Island, NE to Floyd and Viola Lieth. Growing up, he spent time in Great Bend, KS, and the Nebraska towns of Gibbon, Shelton, Ravenna before moving to Elm Creek to live with his foster parents, Don and Lela Holm. He graduated from Elm Creek High School in 1979. Terry enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1979 and attended basic training at Camp Pendleton in San Diego County, CA. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan for a year. He then returned to California where he was a helicopter mechanic at El Toro Marine Corps Air Station. He was honorably discharged in 1984 and was a proud Marine Corp Veteran for the remainder of his life.

Terry went on to work at KSI Disc Products, where he met the love of his life, Lisa Diane Sue, in 1988. Terry and Lisa were married on April 8th,1989 in California, where Terry became a loving father to Ken, Ryan, William and Katie. Later that year, they moved their family back to Elm Creek, NE.

In 1993, they welcomed their son, Nicholas Terence. In 1995, they welcomed a daughter, Akaela Jade. In 2007, Terry and Lisa completed their family by adopting Noelle Jieling Sue from China. Terry worked hard all his life to support his family including 28 years at Eaton Corporation in Kearney NE. He often worked 7 days a week for weeks on end in order to provide for them. He was known for his strong faith, his G-rated sense of humor, and his love and adoration for his wife. Terry was also known for his empathic heart for all animals and people, and would offer comfort and/or assistance to both in any way possible. He always put others' needs above his own, making sure that everyone ate before he did and helping with any tasks needing to get done. His family was his life; his kids, nieces, nephews and grandchildren lit up his world. He took joy in all of their achievements, delighted as new family members were added, and didn't hesitate to get on the floor to play with his grandkids or to change a dirty diaper.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Johnny and Ken, an angel baby, and grandson Guillermo Kai Lieth.

Terry is survived by Lisa, his loving wife of 34 years; sons Ken (Kristi) Patterson, Ryan Patterson, William (Ginger) Campuzano, Nicholas (Sandra) Lieth; daughters Katie (Steve) Linville, Akaela Lieth and Noelle (Alex) Arrants; grandchildren Breanna (Gregg) Stoner, Derek, Shane and Tyler Patterson; Abijah Patterson; Olivia, Liam, Lillian, Trystan, Ciel and Annachie Campuzano; Paige, Gavin and Halle Sue Linville; Wyatt Arrants; sisters Marsha and Valerie; favorite siblings-in-law, multiple nieces and nephews; and many other friends and family.
