Kruse family, please accept our condolences on the passing of Jim. He was my childhood bowling coach for many years and a sweet friend as an adult! Such a big hearted soul and would go out of his way to make you smile! Many pleasant memories over the years. Please know the family is in our prayers.

Mr. kruse has been coming to our shoe repair shop for many years. He was always cheerful and kind. He would come in prepared with a message on his clipboard and he would write "how are you doing"? When he left he would give the thumbs up and slap his side to make sure he got your attention. What a brave kind caring man. He will be missed.

The world is going to be a bit less friendly without Jim. From Somers Saddle Club to Packer games, he always had a kind word and friendly hug.

Jim was an awesome brother, in both The Order of DeMolay and in Freemasonry. As a teenager, I was always awestruck by his deep voice when delivering an invocation or benediction at installations. I also knew him well, not only as an advisor when I was a young man in Kenosha Chapter Order of DeMolay, but also bowled with him in the Craftsman bowling league. I have thought of him often the last few years and am very saddened by his passing. Rest In Peace Brother Jim.

I met Jim at "The Brass" and would see him around town after the brass closed. He was a kind and friendly person and I was glad I knew Him.
