I met Patti in band at Tremper. She convinced me that even though I only played bassoon for 2 years I could succeed as a member of a woodwind quintet with her, Barb Cords, Chip Millholland and Scott Deerwester. We did a class A piece and got a 1 at State! Thank you Patti for having faith in me and giving me the confidence that I could do it. High school band was the best, and your mom was a huge part of that.
