Ruth Startz, 79, of Kenosha passed away on Sunday January 10, 2021 at Ascension All Saints in Racine.
Ruth was born on November 15, 1941 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Herman & Gertrude (Afholderbach) Renschin. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Ruth married Peter Charles Startz on March 19, 1966 in Kenosha. She was a homemaker for many years. Ruth was a member of Redeemer Parkside Church of Kenosha. Her hobbies included reading, bible study, crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren & family.
Survivors include her children, Joseph Peter Startz of Kenosha, Sandra Ruth (Luke Garland) Frank of Paddock Lake, Dustin Bradley Renschin of Kenosha; sister, Claudia Jud of N.C.; 5 grandchildren, Kristina Startz, Briana Gruen, Jenny (Jason) Schaubroeck, Kristy Garland, Joseph Gonzalez; and 13 great grandchildren, Rylee, Mason, Savannah, Paige, Quinn, Lily, Cameron, Silas, Violet, Trista, Donovan, Joe, and Terrin. Ruth was preceded in death by husband, Peter, and brother, Herman.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 20, 2021 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 10:00AM-12:00PM, with funeral services to follow at 12:00PM. Burial Green Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
