Christopher McGorman Obituary

MCGORMAN Christopher J., 63, of Winchester, husband of Cynthia Achord McGorman, died Saturday, August 31, 2013. He was the son of the late Owen and Mary McGor-man. He was a highly decorated veteran in the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam with the 1st Cavalry. His decorations included three Purple Hearts, two Bronze Stars with V Device and one Silver Star. He worked with the Veterans Administration and was also a former police chief in Cornwall-on-the-Hudson. Besides his wife, survivors include a son, Christopher J. McGorman, Lexington; two daughters, Erin (Andrew) McGorman Skrobanski, Milton, NY, and Kathryn (Brian) McGorman O'Connor, New Windsor, NY; and six grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2:30pm Friday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be from 12-1:30pm Friday at Milward - Man O' War.
