Lucas Bruner Obituary

Lucas Jennette Bruner, 21, of Corman Drive, Nicholasville, died Friday, November 22, 2002. He was the son of Tony Lee Bruner (Donna), and Deborah Jean Cornelius Noe (Tom). He was a construction worker for R.J. Corman. He was a former football player for West Jessamine High School, where he graduated in 1999. He attended Wesley Chapel Methodist Church and Wilmore Christian Church. He is survived by one paternal grandparent, Luther Bruner, Nicholasville, and maternal grandparent, Donald Cornelius, Stanford. He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Frances Brumfield Bruner, and maternal grandmother, Alene Dugger. Other survivors include two brothers, Aaron Lee Bruner, Nicholasville, and Terry Wayne Noe, Garrard Co.; three sisters, Crystal Dale (Sammy) Kunglal, Wilmore, Kandice (Wayne) Durbin, Wilmore, and Paula Belcher, of NC; and five nieces, Jordan, Renee, Cheyenne, Savannah, and Kelsi. Extended family members and many loyal friends also survive. Services will be Tuesday at 12:00 pm at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Darryl Mulcahy officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Paul Niswander, James Wyman, Derek Gibson, Brian Jackson, George Simpson, and Doug Holloway. Honorary Bearers will be Josh Morgan, Sammy Kunglal, Matt Bowman, Brian Bruner, Jeremy Bruner, Coleman Tudor, Wayne Durbin, and Justin Jasper. Visitation will be today from 4-9 pm at the funeral home. A reception for the family and friends will be at the Blue Building, City-County Park, following the service.
