June 1, 1933 - August 13, 2023
Lexington, Kentucky - Ruby Marie Weir, 90, born June 1st, 1933, pass away Sunday August 13th, 2023, at Meadowthorpe Assisted Living under Hospice Care. She was the daughter of late Omer and Della Mae (Clem) Kincaid. Ruby was the wife of the late Bobby Lee Weir for 67 years of incredible marriage, forever to be linked together as "Ruby and Bobby." She is survived by her loving son Steve Pierce Weir, who she loved with all her heart. Ruby had 3 special nephews Henry T. Minton, Porter Minton, and Dave Harris. She also had 2 loving friend Lorie Chestnut and Debbie Larmour, along with her friends and staff at Meadowthorpe Assisted Living Facility. Ruby was preceded in death by her 3 sisters Dessie Minton, Dora Johnson, and June Stivers. Ruby was a very special Christian lady loved by all. A visitation will be held at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main Street from 12:30-2:30pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. A graveside service will follow at 3pm at Lexington Cemetery.

ruby and i became friends at meadowthorpe....we liked many of the same things.......sweet potatoes, plants, horse racing and bendable straws to mention a few.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ruby's family. She dearly loved that dog-they were quite the pair. Her sweet smile and kind heart will be missed by all.
