Foy Ronald Vause

KINSTON - Foy Ronald Vause, 79, of Kinston, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Le-noir Memorial Hospital. A native of Lenoir County, he was the son of the late Harry and Emma Taylor Vause of Lenoir County. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Ann Vause. Mr. Vause was a United States Veteran. He was retired from McLean Trucking Company where he was a truck driver. Mr. Vause was a member of Southwest Christian Church in Kinston. Mr. Vause is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Spann Vause; three children, Dawn Vause Smith and husband, Robert Smith of Clayton, Tony Vause of Raleigh, Ronald Warren Vause and wife, Carolyn Ham Vause, of Clinton; four grandchildren, Crystal Blanchard, David Vause, Bradly Smith, Alexander Smith, four great-grandchildren, Aaron Blanchard, Jacob Blanchard, Elizabeth Blanchard, and Addison Smith; and brother, Samuel Robert Vause of Kinston. Grave-side services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Pastor Wayne Lee officiating.
