I am so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. We ran around together in High School and while we had gone our seperate ways during and after college, I still considered Phil a friend. He could light up a room and make everyone laugh. He will be missed.

I came across a quote from someone sometime ago, "Don't take something for granted that can be taken away from you". I thought that was so true that I had to share it with others, although I did not think it would apply in my life so soon. I had not had contact with Phil for many years. In fact, I did not even know he was married. It may sound as if Phil did not fit prominently into my life and my experiences. I must say that upon hearing of Phil finishing his race here on earth, I certainly feel a void in my life that will never be filled again. Phil, I am sorry for taking our friendship for granted. I pray that your family will be comforted at this time of great loss of a fine son, husband and friend.
