I want to thank everybody for all of your thoughts, prayers, and to all of those who gave so much of their time, help and support thru Phil's illness. I couldn't have done it without your help. I want to especially thank, Lee & Leslie LaPrade, Kat and Hardy Link, Scott & Robin Arnurius, and Jeff Olandt for all the sleepless nights and the hands on help I recieved. I will never forget you guys and words cannot tell the gratitude I feel toward you all. I know how much Phil meant to us all, he was the love of my life and I was blessed to be with this wonderful man that I was so very proud of.I am so greatful for all the wonderful people I have met along the way in my journey with Phil and I know Phil was too. Phil touched and taught us all alot about frienship and love. I hope everyone remembers to never take anything for granted and to cherish every moment as if it were your last. As Phil would say "Tommorrow is promised to no one"
Sincerly,
Kerry Starsky

I am so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. We ran around together in High School and while we had gone our seperate ways during and after college, I still considered Phil a friend. He could light up a room and make everyone laugh. He will be missed.

Not only did Phil work for my parents for years, we also went to UT together and had the same major and graduated together. His friendship was a gift to me and he will be missed by all who knew him. We wish you all peace during this time of sorrow.

I came across a quote from someone sometime ago, "Don't take something for granted that can be taken away from you". I thought that was so true that I had to share it with others, although I did not think it would apply in my life so soon. I had not had contact with Phil for many years. In fact, I did not even know he was married. It may sound as if Phil did not fit prominently into my life and my experiences. I must say that upon hearing of Phil finishing his race here on earth, I certainly feel a void in my life that will never be filled again. Phil, I am sorry for taking our friendship for granted. I pray that your family will be comforted at this time of great loss of a fine son, husband and friend.
