I was in shock when I learned of his death. I'd known him but briefly through Facebook, but you could always depend on him to offer his friendship if you spoke of being sad, or feeling lonely.
It doesn't seem possible to me that he's gone, and the world seemed a darker place after reading of his death, but while we hold him in our hearts, loving him, and missing him...he's still here.
Rest easy, Mr. Pickle.
