FREMONT - Gary L. Davis, 74, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at home with his wife and children.
Gary was born on Feb. 5, 1950, in Winchester, Indiana.
While at New Haven High School he met the love of his life. He graduated in 1969, then received his Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Tri-State University in 1973. Gary earned his Professional Engineering Degree from the State of Indiana in 1978, and his Masters of Engineering Degree from Purdue University in 1981.
He retired from Dana after 47 years.
Gary is survived by his wife, Kathy, of 53 years of marriage; his children, Jessica (David) Stachelski, Jarret (Elizabeth) Davis and Ryan Davis. Gary has seven grandchildren.
The world is a better place because of Gary's contributions. He spent his life sharing his talents, knowledge, and labor with others; very likely the person you've been seeing cleaning roadside trash around Lake George was Gary. He was a loving, caring, giving, dependable, proud husband, father, and grandfather. Gary enjoyed working on his yard and flower gardens and taking out his boat. He strived to ensure the betterment of Lake George.
