George Cummings Obituary
He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on July 2, 1956, the son of William A., Sr., and Connie Mae (Finelle) Cummings.
He graduated from Fremont High School. After graduation he earned a mechanic's degree from Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He had worked as a mechanic for Republic Services in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for 30 years.
Survivors include his sisters, Nellie Rowe of Hamilton, Indiana, and Louella Parrish of Angola, Indiana, and three brothers, William A. Cummings, Jr. of Angola, Indiana, Jesse (Lori) Cummings of Angola, Indiana, and John (Amanda) Cummings of Pleasant Lake, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father in 2006, his mother in 2008, and a sister, Connie Nelson, in 2009.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Rev. Jon Bruney officiating.
Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
Memorials are requested to the Allen County Humane Shelter.

Arrangements are under the direction of Beams Funeral Home of Fremont, Indiana.
