Nathan Marten Obituary

WOODBURN — Nathan Lee Marten, age 25, of Woodburn, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016, near Butler, Indiana, from the result of a vehicle accident.
He was born April 9, 1991, in Angola, Indiana.
He worked in construction with his family at McCracken Construction, Woodburn, Indiana.
Nathan was known as the life of the party, he enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family, listening to music, karaoking his favorite song 'Runaround Sue," while doing his goofy dance that everyone knows and loves. And recently spending time with his new girlfriend Emily, who passed away beside Nathan on Sunday.
Survivors include, his mother and stepfather, Christy and Mark McCracken of Woodburn, Indiana; his father and stepmother, Rick and Chris Marten of Fremont, Indiana; a brother, Brian Marten (Colleen Bigelow) of Woodburn, Indiana; stepsisters, Alexandria (Lexy) McCracken of Fremont, Indiana, Sloan Brunner of Butler, Indiana, Courtney (Cory) Armstrong of Fremont, Indiana, Kayla (Trent) Burelison of Pierceton, Indiana, and Katelyn Scott (Austin Rowlands) of Fremont, Indiana; grandparents, Mary Fuller of Hamilton, Indiana, Jerry Fuller of Worthington, Indiana, Doyle Marten of Fremont, Indiana, Myrna McCracken of Fremont, Indiana, and Max and Carol Newbauer of Fremont, Indiana; and nieces and nephews, Hayden Marten, Konner Armstrong, Kolton Armstrong, Iliana Burelison, and Abigail Burelison.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Sherry Marten; a grandfather, David McCracken; and an uncle, Tim Marten.
Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Pastor Tim Terrell officiating.
Nathan will be laid to rest at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
Memorials are requested in care of the family.
