Eileen Glenette Rethemeyer

Eileen Glenette Rethemeyer 58, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO. She was born November 21, 1966 in St. Joseph, Missouri, daughter of the late Patricia & Gene Rethemeyer. She graduated from Central High School, and obtained an Associates Degree from Vatterott College. She worked as a loan analyst. Eileen enjoyed painting and building birdhouses, collecting bobble heads, cooking, going to the boat, spending time with her grandchildren, and nagging Chuck. She was a fiery red head, who enjoyed listening to her favorite bands Meatloaf and Prince. She loved her pets, especially her little terrier Gertie. She had many friends who will miss her dearly. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Alicia Rethemeyer. She is survived by daughter, Raeleen Owens (Jacob Kimler) of St. Joseph, MO, eight grandchildren: Memphis, Riley, Daisy, and Cade Owens, Breanna, Dominic, Oliver Kimler, and Ayden Liechti, brothers, Mark (Vicki) Rethemeyer of Plantation, FL, Steven (Laura) Rethemeyer of Ridgefield, WA, sister, Gina (Rick) Gilbert of Belton, TX, niece, Serenity (Ed) Sternberg of St. Joseph, MO, great niece and nephews, Quinlan, Qearnyn, and Quaid Yates, as well as her significant other, Chuck Drowns of the home. The family will receive family and friends at Fruedenthal Home Health, 2425 N. Woodbine Road, St. Joseph, MO, from 1:00-2:00 with a Celebration of Life at 2:00 Sunday, March 16, 2025. There will be a potluck dinner following the service. She will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.
