Dave Mueller

Dave Mueller, a longtime resident of Thousand Oaks, died peacefully at home on Sunday, August 7, 2022, after a lengthy battle with heart disease. He was 82. Dave grew up in Kentucky, where he attended the University of Louisville, earning a bachelors in Marketing. Growing up watching sunny Rose Parades while shoveling snow, he vowed to move to California. He was proud of his successful career as a National Account Manager for Xerox. Dave was an avid golfer and longtime member of the choirs at St. Paschal Baylon and Holy Cross in Moorpark. In 2006 he performed with the choir in Rome for a Mass celebrated by Pope Benedict XVI. He enjoyed travel and playing guitar and in his younger years held a private pilot's license. His love of rhubarb pie was legendary. Dave is survived by his wife of 61 years, Pat, and sons Greg (Patricia), Paul, and Brian (Scott). He will also be missed by his siblings Marilyn, John, and Angela, and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rosary will be held at 7pm on Wednesday, September 7, followed by funeral services on Thursday, September 8, 10:30am at St. Paschal Baylon Church, 155 E. Janss Rd., Thousand Oaks.
