WALWORTH - Marilyn J. Magowan was born January 30, 1945, in Batavia, Ill., to Charles and Doris (Elliott) Huggins. She passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 following complications from a stroke.
She enjoyed a full career beginning at Shakeproof Industries, and culminating with 26 years (just retired) as editor for Wiring Harness News. Her favorite pastime was simply enjoying her flower gardens. She also enjoyed quilting, and will be remembered with many quilts she completed for friends and family. She was an avid cook who also created (with brother Ron and siblings) a family cookbook to honor their late mother. The limited edition is sought after by many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Kenneth Magowan, whom she married on April 25, 1969, in Batavia Ill.; her son, Chuck; brothers, Gene, Jeff, Ron, Kevin (Linda), Brent (Terri), and Kent (Julie); sister-in-law, Rose (Donald) Magowan; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Magowan; brother, Brian Huggins; brother-in-law, Donald; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Magowan, Diane (Gene) and Leanne (Jeff) Huggins.
A Special thanks to St. Luke's, and Zilbur Family Hospice, Wauwatosa, Wis.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.

Marilyn was such a wonderful, classy lady. I met her through her role at Wiring Harness News, having advertised in nearly every issue ever published, and thoroughly enjoyed our relationship over the past 26 years. Rest in peace my dear, dear friend.
