Barbara Spevacek Obituary
Barbara J. Spevacek, age 68, of 1508 Shoto Rd. Two Rivers, died peacefully Tuesday night, June 17, 2014 at home, with family at her side.
Barb was born September 1, 1945 in Waukesha to the late William and Edna Mae (Knutson) Dowling. She was retired from Parker-Hannifan Corp. of Manitowoc where she was employed for 36 years. Barb was an avid Packer fan; she enjoyed pontoon boating, fishing, and her yard with much wildlife moving through it. She was a real people person who enjoyed the time with her family and many friends. Barb was married to Wayne Spevacek on February 13, 1999 in Two Rivers.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne; four children: Dawn and Brian White of Michigan, Mary and Sean Stratton of Illinois, David and Patti Neuman of New York, and Tom and Carla Neuman of Francis Creek; her grandchildren: Holly (Andrew), Tiffany, Adam (Kelly), Jennifer (Curtis), Aaron, Chelsea, Hope, Brianne, Tommy, Shawn, and Brandon, and extended family, Sherri Fabian; four great granddaughters; her step-children: Troy Spevacek & special friend, Sara, RaeAnn Spevacek, John (Tana) Spevacek, all of Two Rivers, and Todd Spevacek of Sheboygan & special friend, Kerry; and one sister-in-law, Diane Gospodarek of Two Rivers. Barb was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tiffany Neuman; one grandson, Eric Neuman; one brother, Dennis Dowling; and the father of her children, James Neuman.
According to Barb's wishes, cremation will take place with no formal funeral service being held. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Barb's name may be made to the Lakeshore Humane Society.
Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St. Two Rivers is assisting the Spevacek family with funeral arrangements.
Barb's family would like to extend a special thank you to RaeAnn who gave our mother special care & comfort during her illness; special thanks also to the caregivers of Aurora VNA Hospice for the wonderful care and support.

We were fortunate to have known Barb, even though for a short time. We will remember her fondly, laughing and enjoying her time at the lake in Michigan. Our thoughts and prayers for peace and healing are with her family and friends, now.
