Everett Marble Obituary

Everett A. "Tad" Marble Jr.

Funeral services for Everett A. "Tad" Marble Jr., 73, Chivington, Colo. resident and lifelong Kiowa County resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Eads Cemetery in Eads, Colo. Burial will follow at the cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home in Eads.

Marble was born on January 10, 1935 in Sheridan Lake, Colo. and died on October 11, 2008 at St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, Colo.

He was preceded in death his parents, Everett and Edna Marble; first wife, Virginia Marble; second wife, Evelyn Crowe Marble; one sister, Judy Marble Wollert; one brother, Earl "Babe" Marble and one uncle, Joe Marble.

He is survived by children, Susie Marble of Chivington, Colo., Violet (Jerry) Tidswell of Evergreen, Colo., David Marble of Chivington, Colo., Kelli (Ralph) Berry of Eads, Colo. and Tom (April) Marble of Chandler, Okla.; five step children; nine grandchildren; 23 step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and numerous step great grandchildren, sister: Joyce (Clarence) Mayo of Chivington, Colo.; aunt, Mary Marble of Chivington, Colo. as well as other family members and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Weisbrod Hospital Auxiliary.

Brown Funeral Home in Eads, Colo. had charge of arrangements.
