We all know this is not the final resting place for us. However, it is so difficult to let go of our loved ones. All we can do is cherish the memories and the experiences knowing that they are at peace, we can be at peace! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Earl was a wonderful man that always had a smile on his face and God in his heart. I'm so glad that I got to grow up with his children and feel like part of the family. May God comfort the Herron family during this sorrowful time.

Daddy...You taught me how to deal with Satan and his little helpers. Your enormous faith in God and His promises to us is what I will remember and keep with me always. Thank you for giving me the most awesome childhood any child could ever ask for. Where daddy's are concerned, you must have been the best God ever made and will be missed by all ten of us. I am sure all your grandchildren and great grandchildren feel the same. Rest in peace daddy.

We could write a book. Because of Earl and Alpha we gained a new family. Children who played with mine H e filled our hearts with a special joy that always radiated from him. He lived his life as a man of God and is surely by God's side at this moment. We will miss his being with us but know he will linger within our hearts always. The Herron family has our deepest sympathy.

When I think about my grandpa I think of oatmeal & raisins, Taco Bell, being a Christian, war stories and the day I yanked my top of in front of him because a bee was stinging me. I think about the hands of a lifelong hard working man and the smile and laughter of an angel, I can't help but to be thankful to god for choosing him to be my grandfather. This was a man you stand up for when he entered the room, I believe his generation is one of the greatest! Thank you for being my role model grandpa, I love you and I miss you like crazy but I no I will see you once again.
